Dear Bonsall School Community,
With this being the last day of the 2011-12 school year I want to extend my deepest gratitude for the collaboration, hard work and dedication during a year of budget cuts, and sacrifices. I also want to thank the administrators, certificated staff and classified employees who are retiring, or resigning; thank you for your dedication, service, loyalty, and commitment to Bonsall Schools. We will miss your expertise and wish you well. Also, congratulations to all those students graduating to another school.
The Bonsall School Community has continued to make student learning the top priority. The wonderful teaming of staff, students, and parents is reflected in a solid trend of reaching our vision/mission of Academic Excellence and Support for All Students.

Proof of this is in the data that we just received; Similar Schools Rankings are our first success indicator in our strategic plan, and with the Base Academic Performance Index (API) being released yesterday we found out that Bonsall schools are all at the top. Because of its size, Vivian Banks Charter School doesn’t receive a Similar School Ranking, but all other Bonsall Schools received a 10!
To everyone in the Bonsall School Community: we appreciate your strong focus on service to others and commitment to a job well done. In these tough economic times, we will go forward with a dedication to continuous improvement. Please remember, the first day of school for students is Monday, August 27, 2012.
May you enjoy this summer and time with your loved ones as you build the relationships that so enrich each of our lives. Again, I want to thank everyone for the opportunity to serve the Bonsall School Community; I realize what a wonderful and unique place Bonsall is with its beauty and wonderful people. I look forward to preparing for the coming school year and seeing you all again.
